Outside.in for your iphone puts you at the center of your news, showing you all the news stories, blog posts, discussion threads, and Twitter tweets happening near the places you care about. Find restaurants, dive into real estate gossip, get the insider view of local schools, track nearby crimes—Outside.in shows you everything that's happening right around the corner.

Your iPhone will tell Outside.in where you currently are, but you can also set up profiles for where you live and work. Once you've set your location, you can use the icons at the bottom to switch between different zooms: stories within 1,000 feet of your selected location, from the surrounding neighborhood, or your entire city. Shaking the phone jumps you to a map view of all the latest buzz.

Each place in your neighborhood has its own page, so you can scroll through all the reviews of a new restaurant or blog posts about a controversial new real estate development. Wherever you go, Outside.in will give you the insider view.
